Bounce Magic Fun

Well we had a busy weekend. It started with Hannah's birthday party at Bounce Magic where the kids and Jeff and I had so much fun. The kids really enjoyed all the new bouncers they had there and also spending time with family is always a plus. They really enjoyed the big slides which I have to say were very fun.

So tired

After getting all tired out we sat down and had a bit to eat and open gifts. We then piled into the car to head out to my nephews birthday party. Maxwell turned 6 today, I can't beleive how time flys. Needless to say after a very long day at bounce magic and the Thelens house we had two very tired kids that didn't even make it to the end of the street before they feel asleep. That's what I call a fun day.

Star Wars Night At The Baseball Field

Jeff suprised us yet again on a mystery tour to the baseball field for Star Wars night. I was kind of skeptical about it at first seeing i'm not the number one fan of it but boy did I have fun. The kids had a blast the look on their faces was priceless. Jeff got them both light sticks as the kids called them and of course the ice cream, cotton candy, pop and lots of fun. The game was good even though we lost but the end battle was so entertaining. After that they had fireworks which the kids both loved. Overall great night and can't wait till next year for it again.

Luke's End Of The Year Field Trip

It's been a week since my last post due to getting over pneumonia I know right who gets that in the summer well I do. Thank God that I was healthy enough to go to Luke's end of the summer picnic at Camp Pioneer. It was a whole day event and it was wonderful. We arrived at school at 8:30 and loaded up all the cars at 8:45. I had 4 every well behaved kids in my car it probably helped that there was Miss Sirgey in the car with us. LOL We got to the camp and started out with some running games which Luke did GREAT no big surprise there!

After that we broke up into our classes and Miss Sirgey had lots of fun stuff for us to do. 1st we went on a scavenger hunt down at the beach,

Then a nice walk down the beach finding shells and getting our feet wet,

Then to the playground for lots of fun.

Amelia fit right in as though she was a kindergartner it was so cute to see them all having so much fun.

We then went back to the shelter to have some lunch and get ready to do some swing at the beach (which I was very surprised that some many went in seeing the water was COLD)

After and hour an half we went and got into warmer clothes and headed to Chapel to listen to some good music and watch all the teachers sing us a song as well.

Then loaded up the cars again and headed back to the school to go home. Once we got home Amelia was so tired that she didn't make it to the house before she was out cold.

What a wonderful day can't wait till next year to do it again.

1st Time At The Drive-In

Ok so we started out in the driveway and got the car all ready for our first time at the drive-in or the way Amelia calls it "Drive-thru".  I have to say what an experience it was for me and the kids.  First off the amount of people that actually go to a drive-in is nuts.  I loved the look on the kids face when we pulled in and saw all the big screens.  We went and saw Kung-Fu Panda and then the second movie was Thor (which we were hoping that the kids would be sleeping so we could see that) 

Luke, Jeff and I made it through the whole movie but my little girl lost it and fell asleep at 10:15.  I have to say I can't wait to go again.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Starting Out...

OK today is the first day I'm going to start my new blog out.  I want to keep a journal on myself and my family and try to keep you all posted on all the fun stuff we do.  I'll try to post something everyday or as much as I can.  Thanks for following me in this adventure.
