Christmas Fun At School

Well it's been awhile since my last post so what better way to pick it back up but at Christmas time! So sit back and enjoy this ride.

On the last day of school before their vacation we had a wonderful time having breakfast with the kids to singing carols to fun Christmas activitys. We started in the gym with a pancake breakfast thanks to Mr. Willert. Oh and Jeff was lucky enough to sit with Santa himself.

After breakfast we all sat down for the much anticipated singing of the Christmas carol's and gift exchange with their special friend which was so cute to watch!

Following that event we all ventured back to the class rooms where the games, cookie making and snowman snowball fight began. Me being the room mom I had a blast with the kids doing all kinds it crazy things. Even us adults had a blast

Last but not least we calmed the kids down to finish out the morning with a good ole fashion Christmas book "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

Walk And Ride At Trinity

Luke's school had a get together called the Walk and Ride. It was a wonderful time to get outside with our friends not only the Sirgey/Lafferty's but the rest of his school friends. We got there and they cooked up hot dogs and had drinks for all of us. Afterwards we let the kids (and Lisa) all ride their bike and scooters. Us adults tried getting a game of bean bag toss in but our little Abby had different plans. We then took a nice stroll around the path that went around the school. What a wonderful night.

Water Fun At Caz

Our first time ever at the Caz water park and boy for being free it is really nice.  The kids were kind of unsure about it at first but Jonas helped them get into it.  Met Sarah and Jonas there to get the kids out of the house for a couple of hours.  What a great time with great friends.

The Stawitz/Lawerance Wedding

So Jeff's cousin Marissa got married and what a nice wedding it was. We had a very nice out just the two of us. With the kids at my sisters house for the night Jeff and I were able to sit back and relax (with some dancing in here and there). The wedding was at Glen Oak Country Club and it was very nice Marissa look beautiful and the ceremony and reception was very nice. Wedding ended at 9:00pm which turned out good seeing Jeff and I were able to get a movie in afterwards. I just love date night with Jeff.

Fun In The Sun

So went on another adventure to the creek to play and last time it didn't turn out to well. This time we went again with Sarah and Jonas and had another adventure that didn't end up to well...
First it was fun the kids really enjoyed playing in the water (Jonas took a little longer this time seeing last time he got pinched by a crab) but the rest of the kids Maxwell, Grace, Luke and Amelia really had a fun time in the water and the park. So we all got into the water and next thing we now Amelia lost her flip flops and went floating down the creek, so Maxwell takes off after them, few minutes later he got them. Next, the kids wanted to "swim" in the creek not really my first choice but kids will be kids so Aunt Ging Ging let them. That's where it took a turn for the worst!! Amelia's foot got stuck in something and me being super mom I went in to help her next thing I knew I hit a slippery patch of rocks and I went down like a ton of bricks. Needless to say Amelia got out just fine and I got out with a wet butt, wet phone, wet keys and a very sore wrist. Next time I'm sitting the creek out!
